Marvis Aquatic Mint Toothpaste

Marvis Toothpaste - Whitening MintLast night and this morning I brushed with Marvis and I felt like I had just gone in for a cleaning. My teeth feel fabulous! I plan to use Marvis for a few weeks until my dental checkup and see if the dentist notices a difference. I feel that the taste is much better than other toothpaste. It doesn't burn the tongue or mouth. It's not harsh. It's a nice mild taste that leaves the mouth refreshed and the teeth smooth.

Try it for a week. I know it's pricey for toothpaste. But buy ONE tube of Marvis. Floss every morning and evening and then brush afterwards with Marvis. I guarantee you that your mouth will feel different.

I could actually see myself carrying a tube of this toothpaste in my purse and brushing after every meal. THAT is how much I adore this product.

I had seen the Marvis toothpastes before and always wondered why in the world anyone would spend a whopping 10 dollars on a toothpaste. That was until recently when an order I had placed on the web included a tiny sample tube of the original Marvis Classic Strong Mint Toothpaste. Every night (and day) I found myself reaching for that one rather than my old toothpaste (which shall remain unnamed) because I loved the strong mint flavor and the overall clean and fresh feeling in my mouth. I was intrigued and went on to google Marvis. That's when I found out about the Jasmin Mint flavor and a bit skeptically ordered the smaller travel size, just in case I wouldn't like what seemed like a strange combination of flowery and minty.

However, I am very happy to report that this is a truly great flavor. The mint is not quite as strong as in the original but that's just as well since it enables the taste buds to actually notice the jasmine which tastes exactly like jasmine tea and is perfectly balanced with the mint. Not icky, not yucky, not strange, not artificial, just extremely pleasant and wonderfully unique. Who would have thought that brushing one's teeth can actually be an experience and not just something one does because it must be done. I, for one, am hooked and plan to next order the big tube and simply ignore the fact that it is really crazy to spend 10 dollars on a toothpaste :-)

After decades of brushing my teeth with the usual American choices I bought a tube of Marvis Jasmine Mint on a whim while traveling. Using it is such a pleasant experience that I actually look forward to brushing my teeth not just to have a clean set of choppers but for the taste. It foams in your mouth more than Crest, Colgate, etc. and rinses out more easily. Expensive? Yes, but when one considers that you brush at least twice a day it seems a reasonable amount to have a truly exemplary product. I'd give it five stars except it is expensive....though, in my opinion, worth it. I look forward to trying the other flavors. BTW, my father's a dentist, my father-in-law's a dentist, my sister's a hygentist, two cousins are dentists.....Happy teeth run in the family!

Cool toothpaste. The packaging is beautiful, I do wish the tube had been metal not plastic; I just like the old fashioned look. It works nicely as a toothpaste which is the key thing I suppose. It was the jasmine that attracted me to it at first, jasmine is one of my favorite scents. Initially the flavor was hard to get my head around-mint with jasmine scent and flowery aftertaste. But I'm now used to it and really like it. I get compliments on my perfume for the first half hour or so after I brush my teeth in the morning. I guess my breath smells like jasmine which could be strange on a guy. My one complaint is that the few times I've squeezed out too much, it foamed up rather alarming in my mouth, giving a rabid sorta look and necessitating my spitting out a few mouthfuls of flower scented foam. But hey, anything to liven up the day.

Love the refreshing flavor; not as weird as it sounds. As a dental hygienist, I noticed this has more fluoride than our American brands. This may be good for adults who drink so much ( non fluoridated) bottled water. Be advised this is not a "natural" toothpaste. It appears to have most of the additives and surfactants found in other pastes. The novelty of the flavors makes this a nice treat.
