This toothpaste has no SLS, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or animal ingredients.No animal testing.The tube is recyclable (HDPE #2).It's made in the U.S.A.It tastes great, leaves your breath fresh and does an excellent job of cleaning your teeth.My husband, who complains about using other "natural" toothpastes, likes this one.It'd be real tough to make this toothpaste any better.The other reviews had a number of complaints which I researched before buying this product.They are:
(1) it had chlorophyllin copper complex
Chlorophyllin copper complex is an isolate derived from plant chlorophyll.I can't find anything at all that says its harmful in any way.
(2) the product was not labeled as recyclable
It's true the box doesn't say whether it's recylable. The tube, however, clearly says the tube is #2 recyclable.
(3) false advertising b/c it's not organic
No where on the tube or package does it claim to be 100% organic.The box says made with "natural aloe vera gel".The tube clearly indicates that aloe vera is the only organic ingredient.
Other ingredients, though not organic, are excellent.For example, it contains horse chestnut seed extract, olive leaf extract, tea tree leaf oil, coenzyme Q10, stevia extract, peppermint oil, licorice and menthol.In sum, it's the best toothpaste I've found to date.
This is my favorite toothpaste, ever. Better than any other toothpaste I've tried. It keeps my mouth feeling clean and fresh and my teeth and gums looking nice. I have issues with dry mouth so not every toothpaste really cuts it for me.
I don't really care if I use fluoride toothpaste or not, personally, but if you want a good toothpaste, regardless, this is the one to choose. Definitely go with this if you want a non-fluoride toothpaste that works. I also like Kiss My Face's other whitening toothpaste, but I don't believe it contains the Co-Q10 which, as far as I can tell, really does help my gums and fights gingivitis. Their tartar control variety also has Co-Q10, though.
I would buy this 100% of the time if it wasn't a bit pricey. But it's no more expensive than top of the line brands I've seen in department stores. And this works beautifully.I got this to replace another healthy toothpaste w/baking soda that my husband would not use he said it tasted so bad (I thought it was o.k.).... this "Kiss My Face" toothpaste has a great minty taste and works very well. My husband loves it and this deal here on Amazon is by far and away better than our local Whole Foods. Highly recommend.
This is a review of Kiss My Face Triple Action Toothpaste with Organic Aloe Vera Gel.
Although there is one ingredient that is tagged as certified organic (the Aloe Vera Gel) there are some ingredients that are of concern: Chlorophyllin Copper Complex Sodium Salt and Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. If you want to tout a toothpaste as "Organic", please make sure that there are no known or suspected toxins in it at all! We buy this stuff to put in our mouth on a daily basis, and if we choose to buy organic, the whole product should be organic, and not just one ingredient.
I found this toothpaste to have quite some chemical overtones, and it leaves me with a sort of sticky and "oily" aftertaste. There is no indication on the outer packaging that indicates that it can be recycled. Please do not make the same mistake I made, and do not buy this if you want something truly organic. I would rather brush my teeth with bar soap than go back to Fluoride/Sodium Laurel Sulfate toothpaste.That stuff shouldn't even be legal to sell.The mucous membrane is one of the most absorbent parts of the body so why use toxic toothpaste?The price isn't bad and my teeth feel a lot cleaner than other toxic brands.Don't stop here, now go try to find some deodorant that's not made of poison.
