This project will be continually updated with the continuation of use. I just wanted to write things as they happen to get the most detail from the product.First Thoughts:
You get just what you see. The item isn't shrink wrapped, nor is there any way to tell if any of the items have been tampered with. That's a little sketchy to me, but I guess I'll just test my luck. The kit includes the tubes of Remineralizing gel, the 12% hydrogen peroxide gel, and the 30% Carbamide peroxide gel, as well as 3 teeth trays. I really don't think that the kit is worth 300 dollars, knowing I found similar materials for far less on Amazon. I guess it will all come down to if the kit actually works.
Forming the teeth trays:
I had a little bit of trouble at firstI just used boiling water, and it was not hot enough to make the tray flexible. I heated the water in the microwave and they worked fine. They are hearty plastic, which allows several attempts if you need to form them a little more secure on your teeth. I had to redo my top ones a few times to adequately cover the front of my teeth (this isn't a problem with the product, just in my own inadequacies).
Day 1:
The treatment page is quite vague, and doesn't specify which peroxide to start with. The instructions say to alternate the gels daily, so I used the Carbamide first. It was a little difficult to determine how much to put on the tray, and a little goes a long way. I overused the gel and it foamed my mouth over. Nothing bad, and I waited the 30 minutes of treatment. Afterwards, I brushed my teeth to remove the gel, and I already noticed some sensitivity. I applied some of the remineralizing gel, and followed the directions. Everything seems fine for the first day.
Day 2:
I used the 12% Hydrogen Peroxide gel today. My gums were a little sensitive from the treatment the night before, but not too bad. The gel burns, but it all went smoothly. I used the Remineralizing gel again, since I noticed a little sensitivity after the treatment.
