Since I do drink tea, coffee and take variety of liquid herbal (often dark colored) tinctures, keeping my teeth completely white is a daunting task.

I have used this toothpaste before, mainly because it does not contain any fluoride, which is very important for me.It has no artificial colors or sweeteners, and tastes pleasant and fresh and it even seems to help with whitening my teeth, at least to some degree.

Also, the list of ingredients seems innocuous enough, unlike many other commercial toothpastes with harsh chemical additives.

However, Nature's Gate had been implicated in `green washing' and `organic fraud' in the past.They were falsely claiming their products were organic while using synthetic ingredients at the same time (fortunately I have never bought any of their other cosmetics).

Even though they seem to have `cleaned up their act' since then significantly, I would be quite uneasy and hesitant to just blankly recommend their products without doing your own research and due diligence first.

It leaves the mouth feeling very clean, fresh and teeth whiter. This is the only toothpaste we have used for over two years. You only need a little bit so tube lasts and lasts. Its not very spicy. My 7 year old gladly uses it. Its an excellent product!
