Doctor Collins 16% Whiting Kit

I have used other whitening systems and strips and saw little no result, but I am on my third use..have only used about 1/16th of the product and my teeth are noticeably whiter.It tastes minty and clean and does not irritate at all.I would definitely and highly recommend this product.

I normally disagree with using gels to bleach the teeth; I've always used peroxide [brown bottle] rinse before brushing and followed it with a gently abrasive tooth paste.

After using the bleaching gel, I noticed my teeth were about 5-6 shades whiter; I've got very resilient enamel so it's hard for any product to work on my teeth they aren't terrible yellow and they're always shiny; I just wanted a slight kick to the brightness.

This is a good product to use, but I'll warn anyone: continual use of bleaching, gels specifically, will cause premature decay of your teeth.

I bought this only for a one-time use at max exposure of 2 hours and I'm comfortable not to use it again -only peroxide and Dr. Collins toothpaste and it's done just fine!

I've purchased the 10% and 22% products and both have worked fairly well for me. With ANY product that uses a tray, you have to be extremely careful and not overfill the tray so that the product does not contact the gums. This is stated in the instructions so knowing how to read with understanding is critical.

The product comes with 2 sets of mouth trays to be molded so if you screw one up, you have another shot at boiling it into form (again read and understand the instructions).

As far as whitening goes, the 10% gave me about 2 shades whiter while the 22% gave me three or 4. I used the 22% after the 10% so if you have poorly maintained teeth in regards to whitening, go with the 22% first. If you plan on routinely maintaining after that, I guess the 10% would be good.

I am in fact purchasing another 22% today since it has been about a year since I last used and have lapsed into discoloration. I kept my old molded mouth pieces throughout so I only had to do this one time.

Do not buy this! Product contains TWO gel syringes, not four. The "boost" gel has also been replaced by toothpaste.
