I was flipping though the Popular Science (PopSci) list of "Best New Gadgets" for Christmas 2010 in November, and I came across a listing for these.At the time I though..."A Toothbrush?!?".Everything else was electronic... and this was simply listed for the materials used in its design.When I couldn't find any of these at a local retailer, I bought them at Amazon.
This is a great tooth brush.I've been using this brand and model for 6 months now, and I am seeing the gradual improvement in whiteness (from normal brushing without any other heroic measures) that the article mentioned.
Positives?Good angle. Easy on my gums.Slowly removes stains over time with no major changes in tooth paste or routine.Wears well. Using 2-3 times a day, holds up well for 2-3 months without bristles bending in odd directions.(I could probably use it longer, but I just switch out my tooth brushes that often). \
Negatives?Hard to find outside of Amazon.com.(or at least it was when I first started buying this model).
I previously owned one of the most loved and expensive toothbrushes here on Amazon Philips Sonicare Hx5351/30 Essence, Rechargeable, Power Toothbrush, White.
( I gave that up because its a mold incubater)
This toothbrush allthough not electric performs way better my teeth feel like I just had them polished at the Dentist everytime I brush. It does reach back well into those back molars. Best of all I did not have to spend a fortune to find out if I liked it like I did with the Philips.
It is very slendar and will fit in any toothbrush holder. I like how it looks too , it looks like something from a
high end store
I have tried a lot of toothbrushes looking for the right one and I think this will be my Favorite for a long time to come.

Update
I a have been using this brush about 9 months now and switched to a new brush every three months. I use the Trader Joe's brand natural toothpaste which is flouride free and has several beneficial plant extracts for the teeth and gums.
I just had my first visit to the dentist and for the first time was told my teeth and gums look great.
I was diagnosed with severe gum disease and bone loss 2 years ago so this was a big deal for me, daily flossing of course has had a major role in my improvement but I have noticed my teeth look so much cleaner and polished since I made the switch.

I love this toothbrush. It feels like every bristle is textured so it feels more abrasive, in a good way. Only drawback is for some reason there is a hole in the handle close to where you close your mouth around the brush, so sometimes foam/spit can dribble out.What a unique design! I bought this while searching for the best toothbrush on Amazon. I'm not sure if this is it, but it sure was highly ranked. I think it's overhyped, but it IS a pretty cool toothbrush. It feels very "solid" in my hand and has a much more hard plastic feeling than a typical Reach / Oral-B toothbrush (which are covered in grippy material). It doesn't seem to have a tongue scraper. I like the promise of teeth whitening, but 1 month in, have not observed obvious results.
