I bought this item from a Groupon type site paying $24 for it, as it showed it listed for $299. I was excited to try it since I have been an avid user of White Strips for years, which worked great but take a long time, and since this product promised up to 20 shades lighter in a very short amount of time I was sold. The whitening pen was just the icing on the cake:)I recieved this item very quickly but it was packaged in a small envelope and bubble wrp, not at all the kind of packaging I was expecting and not vey professional looking. Inside the contents were in a zip lock type bag and one piece of paper of instructions (no illistrations included). I must say at first glance I was a tad bit disappointed. But I decided to give it a try sinceI had never tried a teeth whitener involving trays and an LED light. I formed the trays, which was pretty easy but they are super thin which made a little difficult with my short teeth. I did have to reshape the bottom, which still never fit correctly. The gel is thick which is nice for lack of moving out of the trays into your mouth horribly. Although it did transfer from my misshaped bottom tray I realized that the gel surprisingly did not taste bad at all, a nice relief from the taste of other whiteners I have tried.
I left the trays in for a few minutes before I did get a burning sensation on my gums and my tongue. I fought through it and after about 15 minutes the pain subsided although still a small bit of sensetivity occured. Also, holding the light up to the trays gets uncomfortable as well as keeping the trays in as long as they reccommended. By about 20 minutes my jaw and mouth was kind of sore. BUt when I took out the trays it seemed that all the sensetivity had gone away! And my teeth were SO MUCH whiter!:) I am very happy with the results especially for the price!
