I have very sensitive teeth and gums. Usually if I use those whitening strips, I get burned immediately. But with this I felt nothing and the taste wasn't bad in comparison. I've used all the big name brands of mouthwash, from Listerine to Act. The final straw was a horrible experience with Crest Pro-Health which started clearly staining my teeth and orange/brown color (which I tried to combat by using MORE until I realized it was doing it).

Ranting aside, I needed something new and fast. I had just become a coffee drinker from a new early shift at work, and combined with the Crest experience, my smile had seen better days. To get straight to the point, this mouthwash works.

The best way to tell if a mouthwash is working well (or any whitening product) is to not tell anyone that you're using it. Within 3 days I had been receiving compliments from everyone around me, and I definitely noticed it myself.

The product had started hurting after about a week, but I wasn't too surprised since I have sensitive teeth. I had been using it twice a day which was too much for me. Since then I have cut back to once a day and have added water (about 1/3 by volume) to the solution. The bottle suggests a half and half mixture but this works fine. It's still whitening excellently for me.

I used to get dry mouth throughout the mornings when just using toothpaste and flossing but this has eliminated that. It keeps my breath fresh until after lunch (so for about 6 hours) even given coffee and a granola bar or so. I hadn't expected it to be so effective, as I was only looking for something to whiten my teeth, so this was a very much welcomed bonus.

It may seem expensive, but you barely need to use any to get results from my experience. A previous reviewer suggested 1 1/2 tablespoon which seems about right. I don't measure, but simply put just enough in to be able to swish it around in my mouth. It may be even less than 1 1/2 tablespoon. I also have diluted it with water. That being said, while the price tag may scare you, you do NOT need to use much and one bottle can last a very long time.

A few side notes 1.) Just a reminder that this is a PRE-rinse, and it's recommended that you brush your teeth 30 seconds AFTER using the mouthwash. 2.) The bottle mine came in was all white and did not match the picture but it's the same stuff.

Definitely give it a try if you're looking for a whiter smile. I was hesitant due to the fact I had never heard of/seen the brand before but will be sure to try more of their products after my success with this. I don't know how many "shades" whiter or whatever this gets but it's more than noticeable.

I have seen tremendous results with this rinse. The Supersmile toothpaste and accelerator gel work well alone but results are dramatically improved with this product. My teeth are whitened faster and results are maintained over a longer period of time. Also noteworthy is that I have two veneers and they work really well on them too. Love it!

I had several friends, including my best friend, notice my teeth being a LOT whiter after only 2 sessions.This product works and it works fast.It's worth buying the LED light to do it in your own time.My only word of caution is to beware of how much you'll drool if you're walking around getting ready or cleaning while wearing the mouth tray.

Bought this product in prep for a long few weeks of business travel.Product arrived prompltly ( that was obviously Amazon).

opened product, read & followed instructions. Put batteries in light and it flickered a bit but eventually went on.

applied product to teeth turned on light and started treatment.after several minutes I looked down and saw no glowing light from the activator.light never came back on even after changing batteries and trying to restart.

tried to contact the manufacturer to have them send a replacement light--and when I called the "Questions / comments call toll free 800 #" I simply get an automated attendant whichhas no routing to a person & no forum to leave a QUESTION OR A COMMENT--Nice!

if this product worked for you --congrats--I guess I'll never find out.

I did receive an email from someone at Twilight teeth stating they would send out a replacement-that said it was not a very No apology & No contact # or information.

I've only used this product once since I got it, but it is already showing results.I've tried other products like white strips and such but nothing has worked better than twilight teeth.Usually, when I used the other products my teeth would be sensitive afterwords, but I had no problem with Twilight Teeth.I didn't use a tanning bed so instead I used the LED Accelerator light, which worked great!I would recommend this product to anyone who wants whiter teeth fast.

Philips Sonicare HX6053/62 Sensitive Brush Heads, 3-Pack

()Why didn't these brush heads come with the Sonicare in the first place? The Sonicare takes some care to get used to, and these brush heads would certainly help with the transition. They are quite gentle, while still ensuring you are getting a good cleaning. I feel I am doing more good than harm with these brushes rather than the "soft" heads that come standard with the Sonicare. Very pleased with these. We'll probably be sticking with these for our brushes from now on.

Downside price! I just can't get over how expensive these toothbrush heads are. And why not make a 4 pack?

()A huge Sonicare fan these sensitive teeth brushes worked as well as any of the other Sonicare brush heads we have tried. A bit softer than some by feel, I'm not sure these felt any different than a standard brush once on the vibrating Sonicare unit. They did a good job though and I have no complaints other than I'm not sure this speciality head is required to get the full benefit of Sonicare's superior cleaning performance.

In short, these aren't at all bad, but I'm also not convinced they would help anyone whose teeth are too sensitive to currently use the Sonicare system. Being a bit softer doesn't ameliorate the vibration that is what makes Sonicare work so well in the first place, but could be a problem for those with a very sensitive mouth.

I compared the bristles and they do feel softer on my hand than the regular ones. I'm happy Sonicare offers this sensitive version of their brush heads as all teeth are not equal in sensitivity. Weleda: Natural Salt Toothpaste, 2.5 oz

I don't usually write reviews here on Amazon, but I just had to sing the praises of this toothpaste.

I've only been using this toothpaste for a few days, but I am so thrilled! I bought this simply because of all the glowing reviews across the web and decided to try it why not? When it comes to quality health or beauty items, I make no qualms about a higher price tag, especially when the product handles both (health and beauty). It does kind of suck that you get LESS product at a HIGHER price but trust me, it's WORTH it.

With regular toothpastes, I would squeeze out a pretty good amount and the tube would last me the better part of a year. Since this doesn't foam, I find I try to use literally a pea sized amount and I have a good feeling the tube will last me several months. I've already inadvertently wasted some of the product (and you don't wanna waste anything that's more expensive than usual) so learn from my mistakes: make sure to hold your toothbrush upright while twisting the cap back on because it WILL fall off your brush! And only use a FEW DROPS of water to dampen your brush, it's very easy to rinse the paste clean off.

It's only been two days and I've already gotten comments on how shiny and white my teeth look! I've been hunting for a good whitening toothpaste for maybe 2-3 years now and I hate waiting the requisite 30 days before I see any results (and then having to use the whole tube anyway so as not to waste it). The Weleda Salt Toothpaste whitened my teeth after the first brushing, no joke! I'm looking forward to its continued use. :) My gums are pinker and teeth are shiny!

One thing I've also noticed is that my teeth feel super slick ALL day. After a sugary snack or hell, a meal in general, my teeth would have "fuzzy slippers." Not with this toothpaste, the clean, slick feeling lasts all day.

The salty taste is new, but far from unpleasant. The peppermint flavor gives me something to focus on while I brush away, but I can't help but to think perhaps some vanilla extract would work wonders for the taste. It does linger if you prod around with your tongue, but its nothing noticeable.

I would recommend this product to EVERYONE looking for clean, shiny, white, healthy teeth without having to wait 30 days for results. I will never go back to "regular" toothpaste again.

This is the ONLY toothpaste I've found that has both no fluoride AND no sodium laureth sulfate. Other fluoride-free brands like Tom's of Maine use SLS, and ones like Natural Care have no SLS but have fluoride. Fluoride is a toxic chemical linked to bone, joint, skin and teeth problems. Yes, they put fluoride in toothpaste despite it being known to cause dental fluorosis. Most city water has fluoride added, the last thing you need is more of it in your dental hygiene products. SLS is not only a toxic chemical, but it is an extremely common allergy and many suffer mouth ulcers from their toothpaste without knowing the culprit. I wish the price tag was a little smaller, but this is the best toothpaste you can buy to protect your teeth and your overall health.

I've been buying this Salt Toothpastefor a long time. All of a sudden when I go to re-order it again, I saw that they have REDUCED the size from 3.3 oz to 2.5 oz and the price is HIGHER! I'm sorry, but there are just so many things I'll be taken for and a fool isn't one of them. I won't be buying this product anymore. I love this toothpaste, after using it in Germany, I was thrilled to buy it here on Amazon. It is considered very healthy there, and was available long before German store shelves became crowded with Crest and Colgate. Unlike the toothpastes normally available in the US, Weleda is salty, not sweet, and is a shock to the system at first.

The toothpaste, Weleda: Natural Salt Toothpaste, 2.5 oz is scary looking when you first squeeze some out of the tube and onto your toothbrush:it is brown. Not off-white or eggshell, but the brown of a brown paper bag. It is very highly scented, too:Weleda contains mint, eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils. All of this really wakes you up in the morning, and freaks out houseguests. (heh, heh, heh)

But when it comes down to it, does the stuff work?YES! WELEDA WORKS BETTER THAN EVERY OTHER TOOTHPASTE I'VE TRIED! The grit that you feel when using Weleda isn't silica (a major part of sand) at all, it is salt and baking soda, which cannot harm your tooth enamel. It is gritty and feels like someone supercharged your toothbrush, and your teeth start feeling as if you just had a professional cleaning all the time. My daughter's gums were sore and soft, bleeding each time she brushed. No longer the Weleda baking soda and the tea tree oil's disinfectant properties healed her gums and they are hard and pink as they should be.

I know it's pricey, but one tube lasts a very long time. No one uses more than a small amount because of the taste, and we use a fluoride toothpaste at bedtime, because nothing on the label says that there is fluoride in the Weleda. Using the Weleda is very Earth-Friendly. It has almost no plastic packaging; just a cardboard box and a metal tube, which can easily be recycled. Only the cap is plastic, which I think is unavoidable.

Since this product does not have a custom tray, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it therefore giving it an overall score of 2-stars.However, if you have a custom-moulded tray (not an at-home heat moulded (boiled) system), this is an effective product if used in moderation and according to instructions (in that case I give it 3 stars).I actually think that a 20% bleaching solution is too strong to be used unsupervised.A 20% solution will likely cause tooth sensitivity and has the additional likelihood of causing chemical burns of the gums.It must be used with caution and restraint.

Keep in mind that Crest and others offer a tray-less system (no gel), as the gel is impregnated in the adhesive strip that is applied to the teeth.These systems work well and are fairly cheap to use.The advantage with the custom-made tray system is that you can use a variety of different bleaching gel strengths, some of which are much stronger than the adherant strip systems.
