Expect the gel to "brighten" your smile, over a period of weeks. The stuff works, but it will be a continuous effort on your part. Every day, every other day, or once a week, as much as your gums can take. If you have really sensitive gums, be prepared for some tingling and short bursts of pain. No worse than pouring hydrogen peroxide over an open wound (ouch!). The good news is, my gums got used to it pretty quick. The first time, I felt burning sensations. My yellowing agent of choice is iced tea. I drink it daily, and I figured my progress would be terrible. However, I started drinking my tea through a straw, and wah la! I am seeing my yellow disappear slowly and surely.

It's not a get-white-quick process, but if you persist, and are careful about how you consume your favorite staining products, you'll be quite pleased with the near-celebrity smile you are creating.

On side note, my wife says if you're teeth are healthy, where you still have most of your enamel, the process will go faster, as opposed to having less enamel (where staining may have been deeper past the enamel).

I was very happy with the price. I think the instructions should be a little better written. I found that trimming the top edge of the teeth tray. Keeps the product from Creating sensitivity To the gums. Or creating a burning sensation to the gums. I have only done 3 treatments but so far I'm happy with the product. As stated I believe the instruction should be a little more in depth.

Really a great product and although it has only been a week since I have had this product it already shows.
