I love this mouthwash! It is so much easier and more affordable than Whitestrips. This rinse actually whitens all of your teeth instead of giving you a weird line where the strips end, and keeps my teeth looking naturally white. It is not as extreme as professional whitening, but it is great for every day upkeep. The only downside is that the rinse gets extremely foamy, but I have never had any of the problems other people described.

This mouthwash truly worked. I paired it with the whitestrips and I saw results within the first week! I had some tooth sensitivity but it was temporary.

I have always been self confident of my slightly yellowed teeth. I do not smoke, but do drink coffee every morning and always brush at least once or twice daily. I've used "whitening" toothpastes before with minimal results, have avoided whitening strips and do not want to pay to have my teeth whitened and be unhappy with having "too white" of teeth. After using Crest 3D White mouthwash for about one week, I have had none of the negative results that other people mention, but have been satisfied with the very subtle whitening. I am a color expert by trade so I can absolutely see the difference and can confirm that it does work.

It does "burn" slightly more than other non-alcohol mouthwashes, especially if you have sensitive gums like myself, but I have not experienced any bleeding or otherwise negative effects from it. I do have multiple, visible fillings and it has not affected those negatively either. It does foam excessively if you use for the full 60 seconds as indicated on the instructions, so I would suggest using very little to begin with as the hydrogen peroxide will cause it to expand to a thick foam in your mouth. You will want to stay near a sink as even after you expectorate the initial foam, it will continue to slightly foam on and around your teeth causing you to spit small amounts shortly after use.

In short, I simply don't believe the "horror stories" after using this product. Either these are entirely false, unique reactions to other chemicals in the mouth, or people with other underlying teeth and gum issues that require major dental attention unrelated to the mouthwash. I do believe that this product works as advertised when used as instructed. Also, for best results, BRUSH FIRST!
