A few thoughts on this product and teeth-whitening in general:* Peroxide gels like this and the in-office dental equivalent are, far and way, the preferred method of teeth whitening. In my experience, whitening toothpaste is for maintenance only, whitening strips are worthless, and no drugstore kit gives results worth mentioning. The latter two simply don't merit your time.
* You'll want custom-molded trays to use peroxide this strong. They'll cost $300 to have done on-site with a dentist or around $50 as a send-away kit with molding material. Cheap heat-and-wear mouthpieces won't fit properly nor provide gum shielding, and are therefore not good enough. Custom trays will last for years. They're absolutely worth the expense and I wouldn't buy this product, or any serious gel, without them.
* There's enough gel in this kit to last at least ten whitening sessions. If kept in a refrigerator, the gel will expire in about two years. Bleaching sessions can be for any duration from 30 minutes to multiple hours. The gel neutralizes itself over time, so most of the bleaching effect occurs in the first hour or two. Wearing overnight is not advisable; I wouldn't go higher than 15% solution for that.
* This is a powerful, but not overpowering gel. With my custom trays, I had no trouble with two back-to-back bleaching sessions, each for 90 minutes, which suggests the gel may be slightly less potent than rated. The only irritation was where a small amount of gel had touched my gums. My teeth are not ordinarily prone to cold or heat sensitivity. I noticed mild cold sensitivity that lasted an hour or two after bleaching. This kit included a remineralization gel that I did not need, but I have used it in the past and it's worth having if you've never bleached before and haven't discovered your tolerance.
* My results were very good from this single session starting from an average shade for a non-smoker, though not Hollywood white. That would probably take two more sessions. Changes become less dramatic with additional sessions. If you take no special care to avoid dark beverages (soda, wine, coffee), the results will last about six months. If you do avoid those beverages, particularly in the first few days after bleaching, your teeth may maintain the new shade for a year or more.
* The shade chart in this product won't be useful if your teeth are already fairly white. The gradients on the brighter side of the scale are too far apart, so even a visible shift may not register a new tone. The brightest tone won't be bright enough for some.
All considered, a product I would buy again.

I read the mixed reviews prior to purchasing the Imako Cosmetic Teeth.The problem prior individuals who had complaints seemed to revolve around following the directions.They must either be impatient, have trouble following directions, or mentally challenged because I read the directions and watched the web video at the site provided on the instructions, took my time, didn't use a microwave and I had no prolems what so ever.I am very pleased with the teeth. I'm missing one front tooth and the tooth between it and the incisor (I dont know the numbers) but the teeth cover them perfectly.For the price you just can't beat the product!I used them during a job interview and I got the job; and, I have been wearing them every day without any strange reactions or people staring (or even glancing) at the teeth.
You should be aware that they are not kidding when they say do not eat with them. They are truly too flimsy to do that.But they will work until I can afford to purchase a perminent fix.Needless to say, for the price, I LOVE THESE TEETH.I can feel a little more confident in public until I can purchae real teeth.
If you are thinking about purchasing this product and you can't afford to purchase the real thing....DO IT.You will be pleased. Just be sure to read the instructions, follow the instructions (watch the web video if you can) and most importantly; TAKE YOUR TIME AND DONT USE A MICROWAVE.You will love the results.

I first saw this item in an ad from a different supplier and was the most excited I've been in a long time. I immediately went directly to the Imako site to get as much info as possible. They let you watch the video on how to make these work (fit them to your teeth and mouth step by step). After watching that and reading some reviews (most of which were favorable...) I then searched Amazon for these and purchased them as they were cheaper with shipping from here.They came right away in the mail and I immediately opened them and began the fitting process. Now I wasn't expecting them to be a replacement for real teeth or even what the dentist can do and I wasn't disappointed when I saw them. They were as I expected to look I guess. It is a little tricky to get them to fit your teeth just right and you really do have to be prepared to "hold still" during the molding process and all that but after a few times I had a pretty good fit BUT something still wasnt right..I couldn't quite shut my lips when I had them on and the product is pretty thin! I had never really noticed that I have slightly protruding teeth and neither had anyone else (I asked people who would tell me the truth LOL). But I guess after prolonged pushing from my wisdom teeth, my front teeth had been pushed forward. And as it says on the package and directions...these are NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PROTRUDING TEETH.That was my mistake for not noticing that. But I do think these would work just fine for people that do not have this problem and of course only for occasions such as job interviews for instance or public appearances where you want to make a good impression.
I gave this product 3 stars because I dont really know for sure how wearing them for a period of time would have been or if anyone would notice them as I myself could not wear them that long due to them being uncomfortable from the protruding. If anything I would have drawn more attention to my teeth with them on than I would with my own poorly looking front teeth. I don't think it's a bad product for what it's intended for though if they do fit you.

I used the soap to shower and used the lotuion plus in the tube for my body; it made my skin a bit lighter but not too light like the whitening cream in the glass container in the box did.
I used the whitening cream in the box for my face. I used to soap to wash my face and I would usually rub the soap on my face for a min to 2min so the dead skins can be removed.
The only con or bad thing about the soap is that it leaves your body ashy and the lotion in the tube doesn't really help with ashiness but it does smell good.

Ok, I purchased both the Imako and the Secure Smile cosmetic teeth at the same time, because I was curious about which ones were best. I have gaps between my teeth and cant afford dental work at the time.Imakoprosvery easy to put on and are a lot thinner, so they do not stick out very far. They are also comfortable to wear.
consThe teeth are a little big and too white and the gums are a little pale. The teeth do not have a lot of shading in between, so they look like one large piece of white plastic covering my teeth from far away.
Secure Smileprosthey look realistic and more natural and have natural color (not outragously white and the gums are not too pale.)
consThey were a lot harder to put on. There is a "shelf" right behind the teeth, which makes them VERY low. I actually had to grind the shelf off with my husbands grinder in the garage so it would fit higher on my teeth. Once I got them to fit higher they looked a little better. They still stuck out a little too far, because they are thicker than the imakos.
My choice-Neither the imakos or the secure smile look completely fabulous. You can still tell they are fake.
The imakos look just a tiny bit better than the secure smile only because I have a smaller mouth and imakos are a littlethinner than the secure smile. Secure smile sticks out a little too far. I REALLY wish secure smile would not put that shelf on the back of theirs and make them just a little thinner, because their color looks more natural and realistic than the imakos. If you are willing to grind the shelf down and think you could thin them out a little bit, go for the secure smile. Imakos are already thin, but are not as realistic looking as secure smile.
For right now, I will be wearing the Imakos, only because secure smile sticks out too far.

Okay, so I have decently healthy teeth. No gum disease, no decay and I haven't had cavities since I was in 6th grade. (I'm 23 now) However, my teeth are very crooked and extremly crowded. And the "smiling teeth" in my front unfortunately are the most crooked. I will eventually be getting my teeth corrected over the next few years. So, I wanted something to make me look good between now & then. I'm also getting married in 7 months and I want to smile happily in my wedding photos without being worried about how my teeth look.When I looked up cosmetic teeth I found 3 options. Imakos were the first I saw, Secure Smile was second and then I saw the Snap-On Smile. The Snap-On smile looks great and involves a professional dental impression and they offer both uppers and lowers, if you have an extra $1,000-$3,000 laying around, go for it...I didn't have a ton of extra cash. The Secure Smile looked alright. They looked huge though and I have a small mouth, duh crowding teeth lol And I found quite a few bad reviews online, one of the videos I found on youtube is what really convinced me not to spend money on them. Just go to Youtube and type in "Real Review on the Secure Smile". The Imakos looked good, thin and affordable. I loved the option of picking a smaller size. So I ordered the small natural teeth. And I'm very happy. :)
First, you must realize these are fake teeth with no dentistry involved. And no matter what brand you buy, fake teeth are never going to look as realistic as your real teeth. Be realistic in your expectations. These aren't Hollywood quality veneers. And they're not a dental appliance. You cannot eat with these or drink hot beverages. I, personally have no problem drinking water throughout the day or sucking on a small tic-tac/altoid. Take them out before you eat and put them back in afterwards, they're incredibly easy to take on and off. These teeth are made of a rubbery material, they're soft but durable. Now, I've read that people don't like the fact that you can't eat with these. Would I love to be able to eat in these? Well, yeah! I hate that I go out with friends and have straight teeth first half of the night and crazy crooked teeth while eating, and then straight teeth again second half of the night lol but you just can't eat with them in. I've tried and I seriously can't chew with them in. But having been made fun of for my teeth my whole life, not being able to eat with these is a small con. Especially since these still allow me to talk, laugh and smile with confidence. I've never had that before with my crooked teeth.
Second, fitting takes some time. Be patient and don't try to rush it. I spent almost 3 hours getting the perfect fit. I'd try a few imes, walk away from it when I started to get frustrated and then I'd go back to it again after some time. But once you get the perfect fit, you never have to mess with it again. And the material is soft, so they can easily be molded and cut to fit. Once they're fitted they look great. Honestly when I got them in the mail and saw them FLAT in the package, I was worried lol I was really worried they were going to look bad because they look really fake when they're in the package. So, wait until you have them fitted right before you judge how real or fake they look on you. Oh, and that pink fitting plastic they give you for the upper gum line. They give you WAY more than you need. First time I tried to fit hem, I used all the pink stuff. By the time I had my perfect fit, I had taken almost all of it off, that's how little of it you need.
I like these because they are thin. They don't buldge out your upper lip and they're comfortable. I sometimes forget they're there. They stay in place. Your speech won't be affected for long. You will have a lisp at first, almost sounds like you're wearing a retainer. I got used to it the first day I put them on, just practice reading out loud in front of the mirror for like a half hour. I do kiss my fiance with them on but no tongue, so we have no problem giving little kisses in public.
You will be shocked when you first get them in. It looked very strange to me at first because I've always had crooked teeth. So to see straight teeth in my mouth looked strange and fake at first. It almost upset me at very first because it was so weird looking to me but once I got them fitted and just left them in, I couldn't stop smiling in the mirror and taking photos with my phone to see how good they look...they look awesome in photos!! :) Which really made me happy because my main reason for seeing if cosmeic teeh was something that even existed, was for my wedding photos.
Third, I've read people aren't crazy about the color of the gums and lack of shading between the teeth. The lack of shading between the teeth is true but it doesn't look like one white strip over your teeth. They look healthy. The gum color is pale. Which, for me, is good because I have lighter pink gums (healthy gums). So they match better with my lower gums. But honestly, no one is gonna stare at your gums anyway. I got the natural shade of teeth, they're still very very white but I don't mind my smile being white. Especially since I've always had crooked not-so-white teeth. It feels good to know I have a straight clean looking smile. It'd probably look weird though if your bottom teeth are really discolored.
Lastly, these are healthy for your natural teeth. They don't cover your whole tooth like the Snap-On Smile, so bacteria won't get trapped and cause smells and decay.
If you're embarassed to smile, patient, and have realistic expectations, go for it! Give it a shot. I'm glad I did! They give me a level of confidence I never had before. I uploaded a side-view picture with my Imakos in, give it a look.

I was not!It took me two tries to fit them comfortably and correctly, but when I saw myself in the mirror, I was ecstatic.I leave the house regularly now, and even my son has not noticed that I have fake teeth.They look so natural.My smile is awesome, and I am extremely happy with them.
I have one tooth to the left of my front two teeth that chipped about a year and has progressively gotten worse. I have no dental insurance and I am planning a wedding that I am paying for myself, so I don't have the money budgeted to go to the dentist. Obviously, I want my wedding pictures to look as good as possible, so I was looking for a quick fix to wear just for my wedding pictures.
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package with the Imako teeth today. First of all, I could tell just by first glance that they weren't going to be bulky. Yes they are almost flat, and they don't look as realistic as the Secure Smile teeth, but they do look real enough for pictures IMO, esp. pictures from a distance.
I will say that it took me about 11 to 12 times to get them fitting as well I wanted them, but once fitted they look natural enough for pictures. I would suggest reading the instructions thoroughly several times and going onto the Imako site and watching the fitting tutorial video. I actually did it wrong the first time, but I was able to refit them because the fitting material will remelt in "simmering water" as the instructions say. Don't be frustrated if they don't look write after the first fit, just simply refit them.
The people who wrote bad reviews either ordered the wrong size, got frustrated after the first fitting or were expecting perfection. If you are just looking for something to wear for a couple of hours here and there, these will work. Especially for photographs. If you are buying these expecting them to replace your real teeth you may be disappointed. I know that several reviews are worded this way, but it's an honest statement. I will not wear them everyday, but I will wear them for my wedding pictures and possibly my wedding ceremony.
My speech is a little bit affected by them at this point, but my fiancée and I both believe that after I get used to them I should be able to talk just fine. It's just like having a tongue ring in your mouth, anytime you put something new in your mouth like that it takes a little getting used to before you can speak properly.
I'd say these are worth the 40 bucks I paid for them for a great wedding pictures that I'm not afraid to share with my friends and family.

So I have just finished using phase one of spraywhite 90.It comes with a whitening solution and a maintenance solution.The whitening solution lasted exactly two weeks.I will update this review when the maintenance solution is gone.Well the big question is does it work.Before I answer that I have to say personally my upper teeth are not too stained, while my lower teeth have been a little yellow for a long time, I have tried to find a reason for that on google but did not find an answer.I would also like to say, because of this problem I have tried several methods including a professional treatment to no avail.So now the answer to the million dollar question, does it work?The answer is on my upper teeth I got to a "1" on their scale which is good, but then again my upper teeth not a huge problem (I also did not note where my upper teeth started on their scale).My lower teeth went from a "4.5" on their scale to a "2.5" which is 4 shades.So it did work.However, I have yet to find anything that makes my lower teeth as white as my upper teeth.What I liked about about this product is that it was incredibly simple to use, no trays and 90 seconds of swishing and you are done with part one, and there was zero irritation.What I loved about thisproduct is the solution you put on your tongue after. You may be enticed by this product, but be sure that when you order anything from SprayWhite that you are not unknowingly enrolled to receive automatic shipments. I wish they would make these thinner and without the tray. I end up sanding off the tray and more to make them look natural. The one size is too big, but the small is molded too narrow. I will use the one size as at least they can be sanded to fit a bit better. I have never been successful using the beads, so I use denture cream. Once I remake these I am very happy with them and they do what they need to, although not recommended I can eat with these. I'm 85% done with the product and I'm somewhat disappointed. It does work, but it's not as effective as a tray system. It did fade away the yellow, but it didn't make it white. This is likely due to the fact that the gel does not stay in place and gets washed away from saliva, maybe it will work better for people with dry mouth. Overall, it's an average product that shows some result.

I used this kit about a year after having used the same product as supplied by my dentist. Although the syringes supplied with this kit looked identical to the ones supplied by my dentist, there was no whitening effect on my teeth after 9 nights of usage. In contrast, with the kit bought from my dentist I could see an effect within 3 nights of usage. This time the only effect on my teeth was immense sensitivity and pain (which I didnt feel with the kit form my dentist).So unless something happened to my teeth which does not allow them to whiten anymore (which I seriously doubt) this product is not genuine. I also bought the 22% kit from the same seller for my mother and it didnt work for her neither. I am very disappointed as the price of the kit here was 3 times cheaper. Amazon should do something about the sellers allowing to do business through its site. I am going to stick with only buying books and dvds form amazon from now on. Beware!

I really don't think these made any difference to the shade of my teeth despite my diligent efforts. My teeth are pretty white as is but I was hoping to get it even brighter with these. Most importantly, it is very very painful to use. I've used whitening products before and do experience mild gum irritation on occasion but nothing compared to this. It hurts! Background information: I'm 24yrs young.

I purchased this after reading reviews on teethwhiteningreviews.com and tried it out. I thought it was fairly convenient and the mouth piece fit my mouth well enough. I'm a 6' average build male and it didn't look like the mouth piece would fit, so surprise! I didn't read at first that it takes 5 minutes *to start* whitening, so the first time I only left it in for five minutes! I read after that to leave it in 15-20 minutes so I started leaving it in 15 minutes for about two weeks. I wasn't hardcore dedicated to keeping up with it, missed a good 5 times (I did it 2 times a day for 14 days). I can definitely notice a whiter shade on my teeth, but I still have tea stains on the bottom edges of my upper row of teeth, which I was hoping it'd get rid of. I'm planning on starting again in a week or so for another two week period. So I'd say it works! Give it a try, and see how it does for you. Oh I guess if I had to give any cons, the whitening gel was kinda funky, not in taste but that it wouldn't wash off easy and doesn't really dissolve in water. I just received my gel and kit today. I used it for 30 minutes this afternoon and my teeth are whiter already. My teeth were not real yellow to begin with, but definatly needed whitening.
